Mary T. Haney
Died: Wednesday - Aug 9, 2017
Mary T. Haney, 83, of Allentown passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at home. She was the wife of the late Hugh Paul Haney. Born December 1, 1933 in Port Chester, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Nora (Cronin) Shaughnessy. Mary received a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Lehigh University. She worked as a continuing legal education coordinator for the Bar Association of Lehigh County for many years. Mary was a member of St. Thomas More Church, Allentown. She enjoyed spending time gardening, reading, bird watching and taking walks.
Survivors: daughters, Elizabeth, wife of Patrick Duncan and Maureen, wife of David Silko; sons, Paul, and Michael, husband of Nana; grandchildren, Zachary, Nicholas, Alexander, Emily, Christopher, Lily, Grace, and Christian; siblings, Don, Joe, Kay and Anne. Mary was predeceased by her grandson, Jonathan and brother, Jack.
Services: Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 19th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas More Church, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown. Family and friends may gather 9 - 10:00 am in the Church. Inurnment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Contributions: Memorials may be presented in lieu of flowers, to Ascend Hospice, 108 Cowpath Road, Suite 3 & 4, Lansdale, PA 19446. Arrangements are under the direction of the Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton. Online condolences may be submitted below.

Haney family. I have been out of touch with Mary in recent years but she was a good person and we were friends when you lived in Warminster. I'm sure you will all miss her but she was proud of you all.

My condolences to Mary's family. I'm so thankful that Mary was apart of my life. She was an inspiration to all. No matter what, She always had a smile on her face. I am so gad I had the pleasure of doing her hair and hearing about her family. She will be missed . Rest in peace my friend and God be with you and your family.
